Flips... My First Love

In terms of cloth diapering, my first love is Flips by BumGenius!

When my husband and I found out we were expecting twins, we decided right then that we would still stick to our plan of cloth diapering. As I started browsing online, I realized how big the cloth diapering world really was and became so overwhelmed that I almost gave up:(

Enter life saver, a friend named Angela, who swooped in to the rescue with an awesome demo on her Flip diapers!

What first drew me in about Flip diapers was the fact that volume wise and cost wise, it was less...but not lesser quality. I love that you only need two covers a day and just swap them out back and forth every time you need to change the insert. I love that the covers are an amazing fit for even my skinny mini twin boys! And I love that even my "third hand" covers and microfiber inserts are still holding up!

The covers can be used over a prefold, a fitted diaper, or any Flips insert(stay dry, organic, disposable). A Flips cover + a Bamboozle fitted diaper = Bullet proof night time solution!

Flips are easy to use, easy to care for, and easy on the pocket book. They were our fist diaper, and even though we have branched out to other brands, Flips is still our go to!

I have had a few clients come to me and say that they have tried many different kinds, but are looking for something different, something that blends a few different diapers to make their ideal diaper. They then explain to me what they are looking for, only for me to tell them that exactly what they are explaining, actually exists...its called a Flip!

I also love that when you visit the BumGenius website, there is an information page that tells you how the diapers are made, who they are made by, and where they are made. It is great to see a company that is upfront, honest, and responsible!

Wondering if it is difficult to cloth diaper twins?

My answer is always,

"It's a lot easier to throw a load of laundry in if I find I'm running low on diapers, than to cart my boys across town to pick up a box of diapers that I'm going to essentially throw away!"
